Designed for trust

Safety comes first

This community is designed around a few firm rules that keep meetups welcoming and safe.

No DMs. Make plans in public.

There are no direct messages, private chats, followers, or friend requests, and no hidden way to contact a member. Coordinating in the open means plans are visible, accountable, and easy to join. Meet new friends. Don’t be creepy.

Don’t share sensitive details

  • No room numbers or hotel details in public.
  • No employee IDs or badge numbers.
  • No full itineraries or exact travel times.
  • No phone numbers or personal email addresses.

We automatically flag obvious phone numbers and email addresses in profiles, meetups, and comments and ask you to remove them before posting.

Your travel is private

Check-ins and pre-check-ins always expire. They count toward anonymous city totals, but never reveal your name, employer, hotel, exact dates, or itinerary. Counts are only shown once at least three members match.

That anonymity is for city check-ins only. When you mark yourself Interested or Going on a meetup, your name appears on the attendee list by default—or you can toggle Stay anonymous so only the host sees who you are. Comments still show your name. Meetup plans are public among members on purpose.

Report and block

You can report a profile, meetup, or comment, and block another member. Hosts can remove someone from their meetup, and moderators can hide content, lock a meetup, or suspend a member when needed.

Admins can ban users by IP address, email, and other identifying signals. If we find abuse of this app or predatory behavior, depending on severity, we may contact your employer. That is reserved for serious cases. Don’t abuse the app. Use it for its purpose: public, respectful crew meetups. Consent and relationships may grow organically, but be respectful.
